As many of you know I returned to the UK on 4th March this year. Since then Hi-Cap UK have done so much work. We are now supporting 104 children in the Himalayan district of Lamjung. I am so proud of the work we have done this year and have to thank all our supporters for their help especially Brett Adams for his continuous support through Justgiving with his very special head shave!! His sponsorship money went to various projects, the biggest being the transformation of a child’s life, in fact, the doctors told us Sushmita would not have survived to adulthood without this operation Hi-Cap being aware and working to make a real difference to the lives of the people in the area.
We have also been honoured to receive another donation from Future For Kids this year this will also make such a difference to the children and families of the Lamjung district of Nepal. Computer equipment will be delivered
I am due to return and inspect the completion of our projects.
I am so looking forward to seeing the New Watermill that has been built and brought so much pleasure to the locals. We have had phone calls saying how this mill has made their lives so much easier. We also put a new roof on the women’s group building helping to encourage the women of this area to gain independence and understand how important it is for their children especially the girls to receive an education. Hi-Cap UK providing so many facilities in the schools to achieve equality of education.
The area of Lamjung is thriving through our work. help, and I am so proud of everything we have done this year and will continue to do as much as finances allow us to.
